The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) was created on July 1, 2003, as a way to manage and coordinate the major resources of the state government. The DAS mission is to provide high-quality, affordable infrastructure products and services to Iowa state government customers in a manner that empowers them to provide better service to the citizens of Iowa and support the State of Iowa in achieving economic growth.

The Iowa Association of Community Providers (IACP) has advocates on behalf of mental health and disability service providers for more than 35 years. IACP partners with more than 130 community-based organizations to provide a wide range of resources to their management and staff (30,000+ people) to ensure that provider needs are being met. IACP services impact organizations located in all 99 counties that annually contribute $1.3 billion to Iowa’s economy.

Through leadership and service to the state education system, the Iowa Department of Education works to ensure all students are ready for college and career training and receive the postsecondary support they need to succeed. The Department provides oversight to the state education system that includes public elementary and secondary schools, nonpublic schools that receive state accreditation, area education agencies, community colleges, and teacher preparation programs.

Created in 1963 by the Iowa General Assembly, the Iowa College Student Aid Commission (Iowa College Aid) has served as the State of Iowa’s student financial aid agency for over 50 years. Originally established to implement federal assistance for construction of academic facilities, the agency has evolved in its responsibilities and has broadened its scope to help make college possible for all Iowans.

The Iowa Hospital Association is a nonprofit trade association of 119 hospital and health system members. The association was established in 1929 and provides advocacy, education and information to its members. It represents and advocates health policy issues benefiting Iowans before the state legislature, U.S. Congress and regulatory bodies. The Iowa Hospital Association is headquartered in Des Moines and is an allied member of the American Hospital Association.

The Iowa Primary Care Association (PCA) is a non-profit membership association comprised of 13 community health centers and one migrant health program and is recognized as the trusted voice on healthcare, particularly concerning vulnerable populations. These organizations collectively serve more than 226,000 Iowans each year through over 800,000 patient visits. Our work focuses on our mission of enhancing community health centers’ capacity to care with a vision of equity for all.

The Iowa Rural Health Association (IRHA) is a nonprofit membership organization of individuals and organizations dedicated to ensuring optimal health for all Iowans, particularly those in rural areas. As the voice for rural health in the state, the IRHA brings attention to the issues that affect rural health providers and helps address those issues by providing educational opportunities, facilitating information sharing, and engaging in advocacy activities.
