Health Care Award Program
Who Qualifies: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Educators, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses who meet certain requirements. What you get: The program provides financial awards to applicants who agree to practice in a service commitment area for five consecutive years, and who meet the requirements of the program. The maximum annual award shall be $6,000 per year for up to five consecutive years of full-time employment. Health Professional Recruitment Program
Who Qualifies: Advanced registered nurse practitioners, athletic trainers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, physician assistants, podiatrists and registered nurses. What you get: The program provides loan repayment benefits to individuals that practice in specified locations for up to four years. The maximum award for this program is $50,000, which is paid in four increments toward outstanding Federal Stafford Loan and Grad PLUS Loan balances at the end of each 12 month employment period.
